How Vacation Renter Works

1. Register your property online:

Register online by clicking on the Vacation rental owner sign up link and completing the online form if you are an individual vacation rental property owner. If you have multiple properties such as a property manager or hotelier, click on the Property Manager / Hotel Sign Up. Once you register online, our staff will build a custom webpage for each of your properties complete with photos, description and a section for guest comments. You will also be issued a username and password for your account.

2. Log into our database:

With your user ID and password, log into our online database and mark which nights you want us to promote and attempt to obtain reservations for you. Any nights you mark as available in our system, will appear to prospective guests on our websites, affiliate network and to our in house reservation agents responding to guest inquiries. Once we book a reservation you are contacted instantaneously via email.  

3. Contact guest and proceed with guest check in as usual:

Once you receive a reservation, you are provided all of the guest information to communicate with the guest. You should contact them to acknowledge the reservation, collect the security deposit and request any other paperwork you require.

4. Get paid:

Depending upon which program you select, you will A) Collect your rental amount, applicable taxes and cleaning fee. We will then send you an invoice for our small commission after the guest checks out. B) We process the guest’s rental payment, taxes and cleaning fee, then send you the proceeds after the guest checks out. C) We process our commission from the guest’s rental payment, and you are free to collect the remaining balance directly from the guest at your discretion.

Vacation Renter Services

Vacation Renter Inc. provides a number of services to the vacation rental owners & Property managers it works with. Our services are totally non exclusive. Owners are free to continue marketing and operating their vacation rental properties in the same manner they always have. Vacation-Renter simply offers an additional resource to generate reservations. Most importantly, Vacation-Renter never has any kind of up front cost, ongoing expense or hidden charges. » Credit card processing to provide an easy and convenient, yet credible, payment method for potential guests.

» Customer service for reservations made through Vacation-Renter.

» Direct and database marketing of client properties.
